Dear friends, as we move into the final stretch before the March 20 Equinox, many of you may notice an interesting contrast: your inner knowing can feel clearer, but the mind can feel louder. More thoughts. More second guessing. More mental loops. This is common in threshold weeks. The system senses change, and the mind tries to regain control by thinking harder.

But clarity rarely comes from force. When the mind is loud, the most powerful move is not to answer every thought. It is to return to the present moment and let the nervous system settle first. Often, what you call “confusion” is simply an overstimulated system asking for a quieter channel.

So today, try a different kind of discipline: interrupt the loop. When you catch yourself spiraling, do one simple reset. Exhale slowly. Relax your shoulders. Let your eyes soften. Then ask one question only: what is the next kind step? Not the whole plan. Not the whole future. Just the next kind step. The right path is often built through small coherent steps, not through mental warfare.

You may also notice that some thoughts don’t belong to you. They feel borrowed from collective anxiety, family dynamics, old identities, or survival habits. On Friday, March 13th, the Moon, ruler of cycles, in security oriented Capricorn is in a challenging square to Chiron, ruler of old soul wounds, in reactive Aries. This acts as a difficult, yet transformative, energy on our long term healing journey.

Because the Moon, ruler of our subconscious, moves so quickly through the zodiac, and Chiron, ruler of past traumas, has been in Aries since 2018, this “one day” energy has been taking place once a month since then. This is not as a punishment, but so we can understand, heal and release wounds regarding our possible lack of courage, self-confidence and self-identity when it comes to certain situations in our lives.

The Moon in earth sign Capricorn desires to feel secure, stable and grounded in the emotional body. However, Chiron in Aries acts as the “Inner Critic” when navigating certain circumstances.
