Over the past eighteen months, Mars, Jupiter, and now Mercury have all retraced this same section of Cancer. The Sabian Symbol is “A woman awaiting a sailboat.” The tarot correspondence is the Four of Cups. Even the degree symbolism points toward recognizing emotional patterns we’ve outgrown.
Rather than seeing this as “just another New Moon,” I began to wonder if these repeated returns to the same part of the zodiac have been preparing us for something.
At the same time, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and now Jupiter have all established themselves in new signs, converging around 4° and marking the opening chapters of entirely new cycles.
Maybe that’s why this New Moon feels different. Rather than asking us to become someone new, it may simply be asking us to recognize how much we’ve already changed.
This energy may bring disruption and a shift in energy in your connections with others, finances, values, and your sense of self-worth.
