The energies are really ramping up!
First, we were getting acclimated to the shift of Mercury, the Messenger, in his retrograde motion, the Full Moon in Capricorn energies and Jupiter, the Great Benefic, shifting into larger than life Leo for the next year. All of this occurred on June 29th.
This Mercury Retrograde has seemed stronger than others. Perhaps that is because Mercury rules logic and objectivity, but Cancer rules emotions and intuition. Situations, people or memories from the past are strong. We are trying to sort through it all and make the best decisions possible. However, the head and the heart are on opposite pages.
The Full Moon in Capricorn was at its fullest just hours after Mercury turned retrograde. And, since the Moon is the ruling planet of the sign of Cancer, it made everything more expanded and intense. Capricorn is about long term goals so we were trying to feel our way through (and maybe still are) whether we FEEL as though we are aligned with the projected plan for ourselves.
And, then Jupiter, planet of blessings, began his year long journey expanding into Leo’s energy of leadership, confidence and creative self-expression. We are able to shift away a bit from the expansion of emotional energies and inner healing (Cancer) and into the energies of joy and vitality (Leo).
Yesterday, we had Neptune, ruler of things elusive, unseen and intangible, shifting to retrograde motion in Aries, sign of the Self. Did anyone have sleep disturbances or increased dream activity over the last few days? Did anyone feel more ungrounded? Or, more confused about situations in your life than usual? That was Neptune making his shift. When Neptune, planet of illusion and confusion, is retrograde it is said that he brings more clarity to circumstances. We will see!
Today, comparatively, it is uneventful. The Moon, ruler of our feeling nature, starts out in bold, fire sign Aries but then shifts to practical, earth sign Taurus. There is a positive connection to Venus, ruler of relationships and resources, in Leo, during the first part of the day, but when Luna shifts into Taurus we have difficult connections to Chiron, ruler of soul wounds, Jupiter, planet of exaggeration, and Pluto, ruler of power and control. Gert your work done early, because you may want to take some healing time for yourself later.
