On Tuesday, August 11th, just one day away from the New Moon Solar Eclipse, we have Mars, ruler of the masculine archetype, moving into empathic, water sign Cancer where he will be until September 27th. This shifts the fiery, aggressive energy of this planet, into more of an emotional, protective expression.

Instead of direct confrontation, expect the focus to be on home, family security, emotional security, and defending loved ones. Mars in Cancer has intense protective instincts. Our drive will shift toward safeguarding family, close friends, and personal space. Motivation stems from a deep need for safety.

In close relationships, old emotional triggers may resurface, requiring patience and clear boundaries. Tolerance for boundary-crossing drops significantly and feelings are easily hurt.
