The Lion’s Gate, which reaches its almighty point on August 8, is very real and powerful but it is not the finish line. This is the trigger of the most powerful eclipse of 2026.
The Great Sphinx of Giza, the guardian in the form of a lion that has looked east for more than ten thousand years, was built to observe precisely this sky.
The Egyptians did not choose the body of the lion by chance. They carved a lion to mark the Lion’s Gate.
Numerology is not just a decoration: eight is the number of infinite flow, the number that, when turned sideways, becomes the symbol of infinity.
The eighth day of the eighth month duplicates this flow, and this year 2026 reinforces it even more by creating a resonance of three-ones. But the Sphinx is more than a milestone.

For today, however, we have Venus, ruler of love and partnership, in normally balanced Libra in a difficult quincunx to Chiron, ruler of our soul wounds, in fixed Taurus. There are adjustments that need to be made in our relationships, or at least within our own internal wounds regarding relationship.
