Dear friends, there are moments on the path when something stops feeling far away. It may not yet be fully formed. It may not yet have its final shape, its final name, or its final outer expression. It begins to feel like life itself is quietly, but unmistakably, asking for a deeper response.

And this may be part of what makes this final day of April feel so meaningful. Not only because tomorrow’s Scorpio Full Moon now stands just ahead, and not only because May is about to begin, but because many may already be sensing that what has been moving through them is no longer abstract. It may already be asking for a different level of participation. A different level of self-honoring. The Full Flower Moon in Scorpio becomes exact on May 1st at 1:36 pm Eastern (US time), completing a cycle that began with the Scorpio New Moon on November 20. Whatever was initiated then has now reached a point of visibility.

This Moon doesn’t stand on its own. It carries everything that has developed since that time. What was just beginning then is now revealing what it has become.

For some, this may show up through a relationship dynamic. For others, it may be a shift in emotional truth, desire, or personal boundaries that can no longer be unseen.

This Full Moon takes place in the second decan of Scorpio at 11° 27’, the section of the sign that is ruled by the Sun.

There’s a tendency to interpret the Scorpio Full Moon as the most intense of the year, often with a sense of caution around what it might bring. But I don’t want you to miss the layer here that I see as so key.

The Six of Cups corresponds with this area of Scorpio – often referred to as the Lord of Pleasure. It brings themes of nostalgia, emotional connection & magnetism. So here we have a Moon that speaks to pleasure that has been earned.

Enjoyment that emerges after moving through experience. Something that carries depth, insight & a kind of emotional intelligence that wasn’t available before. Something could feel familiar, but it’s now arriving with history behind it & with a different level of awareness within you.
